A edição de 2024 do The Game Awards celebrou os melhores do ano no universo dos jogos e trouxe grandes novidades para o futuro da indústria, incluindo trailers de títulos aguardados como The Witcher 4, Okami 2 e o novo projeto da Naughty Dog, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.
Entre os destaques da premiação, o grande vencedor foi Astro Bot, que conquistou o prêmio de Jogo do Ano e outras três categorias. Outro favorito da noite foi Balatro, que garantiu três troféus, incluindo Melhor Jogo Independente e Melhor Estreia de Jogo Indie.
